The Plot: After receiving a ransom note from one Freida Claxton – Dorothy, Blanche and Rose must set off to The North Pole, by way of Atlanta, Brooklyn and St. Olaf to gather all the clues necessary to solve this True Crime, and find out if Sophia Petrillo really DID get run over by a reindeer! Or if perhaps, this is just another scheme from one of the Golden Girls’ most dastardly villains, Freida Claxton, in her ongoing mission to deforest THE ENTIRE WORLD! (insert maniacal laughter here).

Featuring holiday songs you know and love, Golden Girls easter eggs that every TRUE fan will adore, and all the shenanigans The Golden Gays™ bring their fans every year – “Sophia Got Run Over by a Reindeer” is destined to become a *new* holiday tradition

The Performers: The Golden Gays™ quickly emerged as the premier Golden Girls musical experience in the country (and now internationally) with the perfect musical drag show for the whole family. They burst onto the scene in 2017- first at RuPaul’s DragCon NYC, then at the famed Rue La Rue Café, where their trivia show video went viral. What began as a flash mob has now skyrocketed to sold-out engagements all across America to London and Mexico and on the high seas. They tour their original Golden Girls-inspired parody musicals in repertory throughout the year. You could say they travel down the road, and back again ... all while singing in three-part harmony, wearing heels, backwards up a hill both ways.

VIP Seats - $30 (Near-stage seating + post-show meet-and-greet with performers)

The historic Shepherdstown Opera House is a cozy theater that seats 100 — advance ticket purchase encouraged. Beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks for sale during the performance (ID required for beer & wine purchase, no outside food or drinks please). Lobby, theater & restroom are wheelchair accessible.
